Behind Meyer Haus
​Ana Meyer
Founder & Principal Designer
Originally from Brazil, Ana moved to Canada with her husband a little over six years ago, soon after graduating in Architecture and Urban Planning. After two years at Sheridan College, she deepened her knowledge in interior design and went on to work with two well-established design studios in Toronto.
​
For four years, Ana balanced her full-time roles while taking on freelance projects, shaping her skills and design vision along the way. In 2023, after buying their first home outside the city, she decided to take the leap and officially launch Meyer Haus.
​
When she’s not working on projects, you’ll probably find her spending time with family, baking fresh bread, or hanging out with her two cats. She loves reading — from self-growth books to lighthearted novels — and escaping winter for ski trips or sunny getaways to Brazil. Thoughtful and creative, Ana brings empathy, curiosity, and a bit of fun to every project she works on.
​Mariane Fiorot
Associate Interior Designer
Mariane began her studies in Engineering back in Brazil before realizing her true passion was in design. That discovery brought her to Canada, where she pursued her dream of becoming an Interior Designer.
​
She loves clean, minimalist, and contemporary spaces, bringing a thoughtful and refined approach to every project. Inspired by the warmth and timelessness of mid-century design, Mariane believes in creating homes that are not only beautiful but also sustainable — something she sees as more important than ever.
​
While she enjoys every step of the process, she has a particular love for the technical side — making sure every detail comes together seamlessly. From space planning to finishes, she thrives on bringing each vision to life from concept to completion. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her enjoying something sweet or taking a slow day to rest and recharge.
